LibKey Integration
Connect your institutional library subscription through LibKey to get one-click access to full-text papers directly from BioSkepsis. If your university or institution subscribes to LibKey, you can read papers without hitting paywalls or leaving the platform.
Setting Up LibKey
- Navigate to settings: Go to the LibKey settings page in your BioSkepsis account
- Find your institution: Search for and select your university or research institution from the list
- Save: Your institution preference is stored locally for future sessions
How It Works
Once configured, LibKey integration enhances your paper access:
- Full-text links: Papers in your search results that are available through your institution show a direct access link via LibKey
- One-click access: Click the LibKey link to open the full-text PDF through your institutional subscription
- No extra login: If you are on your institutional network or VPN, access is seamless
What Is LibKey?
LibKey is a service by Third Iron that connects researchers to full-text articles through their institutional library subscriptions. It works with thousands of academic institutions worldwide to provide instant access to subscribed content.
Availability
LibKey integration is available on all plans. It requires that your institution subscribes to LibKey and that you configure your institution in BioSkepsis settings.
